Does Machu Picchu really have the world’s best sunrise? See for yourself and blog about it!

Conducted by Dr. Michael Searson, this iStory Tour includes lectures, in-depth sightseeing, and experiential learning. The unique feature of this tour is the ability for participants to use contemporary technologies to reflect upon and share their experiences with others. Working in small groups, tour participants will be provided support to process what they have experienced and create an electronic journal of their experiences. Groups may choose from blogs, podcasts, digital stories, and geocaching, even if they have never worked with these tools before. For additional information, contact Dr. Searson: 908-737-7147 • msearson@kean.edu.

Participants are welcome to join with or without registering for academic credit.

Spend two days in Lima, the coastal oasis at the foot of the Andes. The group will then travel to Cuzco, center of the once-powerful Inca Empire, where you will visit Korikancha Temple and Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuous settlement in the Americas. A morning train ride takes you to the famous mountain peak of Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Inca.” Click here for a detailed itinerary.
