On this nine-day course in Spain, you will be introduced to the wonders of studying art and culture in their original location and cultural context. During four days in Barcelona, the group will visit the Gothic Quarters, the Montserrat Monastery, and the Gaudi and Picasso Museums. Imagine life in Ancient Spain by seeing the Roman Aqueduct in Segovia, and in Toledo, see the Cathedral Santo Tome with El Greco’s most famous painting. The trip concludes with four days in Madrid, where you’ll visit the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum before attending a Flamenco dance performance and dinner.
Participants are welcomed to join with or without registering for academic credit.
