The Center for International Studies coordinates Kean’s Study Abroad program. Eligible matriculated students are encouraged to study abroad, which will allow students to grow intellectually, develop intercultural communication skills, and improve foreign language skills, among other benefits. Students enroll in a full course of study and are eligible to apply these credits to meet Kean University degree requirements.

Through its membership in the New Jersey State Consortium for International Studies, Kean University belongs to state, national, and international consortia that offer study abroad programs for students. Study abroad opportunities are also available under the academic partnership agreement between Kean and the l’Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Pau, France. Contact CIS for details.

First, visit the NJSCIS website or quick reference sheet, then complete and return an interest sheetto CIS. Next, attend one of our study abroad meetings, and then set up an appointment with the Study Abroad Coordinator to begin working on your application.
