Join the Africana Studies Program’s educational tour of Egypt, a country with rich history dating back to the earliest human civilizations. Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Witness the grandeur of the Great Sphinx. Journey to the Temples of Luxor and Kamak and visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens. Travel back in time as we enter the Temple of Ramesses II at Abu Simbel. Spend time at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and marvel at the treasures of King Tutankhamen. Board a luxurious 5 star Nile cruiser and sail to the Temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. In addition, there will be many other sites to visit and plenty of time to enjoy the Egyptian night life and shop for gifts throughout the country.

Schedule of payments and financial aid:
 
March 1, 2010 - Nonrefundable administrative fee of $100 and deposit
 payment of $250 due to CIS
April 20, 2010  - Full payment of program fee due to CIS
 
Matriculated students seeking financial aid to cover program cost
must contact the Center for International Studies by March 30, 2010
 
 To sign up:
 1. Submit the Travelearn Participant Form, Travel Waiver, copy of your passport and $100 administrative fee by the deadline above.
 
• Matriculated Kean students seeking financial aid to apply  towards program fees must complete and submit a Travelearn Financial Aid Contract in addition to the above documents.
 
2. Upon receipt of these documents, CIS will provide instructions on completing registration and payment.
 
3. If seeking academic credit, register for the Summer II semester by obtaining the permission code from the academic department and registering in KeanWISE.
