Experience the artistic, cultural, historical, and political legacies of three world-class cities: Rome, Florence, and Venice. In the Eternal City, feel the lasting impact of the Holy Roman Empire, then discover how Florence’s Renaissance introduced the world to opera, Machiavellian politics, and some of the world’s finest works in sculpture and painting. Learn how Venice, the magical city of canals, provide access to Asia in the West’s quest for eastern trade routes. Study the architecture of its picture-perfect palaces and imagine life centuries ago.

The Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s David, and the Colosseum are just three of the famous treasures that you will see on this directed study tour of Italian art and design.
